Marcie started off her career in hospitality. Working in restaurants in many different positions she learned what true hospitality was by studding under world renowned managers. She channeled her love of events & hospitality into a career within catering. Learning how to create the perfect event through food. During COVID she came up with Deo & Duke and it never felt just right. After a massive life change in 2023 she decided that take the reigns of her life and go forth with no fear and put Deo & Duke in to the world. Armed with a hospitality & event planning background, she created Deo & Dule for the brides who wanted something outside of the norm. A big proponent that the devil is in the details, Marcie created Deo & Duke for those who wanted a unique event experience and didn't know where to look. Armed with an extensive hospitality, event planning, and design background, Marcie is focused on turning dreams in to reality and reality in to a moment that is talked about for years to come.

Deo & Duke is an ode to my family and all the women who have impacted my life. The namesake comes from my paternal grandparents who had a major influence on my life. I have been thankful to have some of the most encouraging & supportive women in my life. All these people have encourage me not only to pursue my dreams and build a fulfilling life, they have taught me that hospitality and being selfless & serving is a gift. Deo & Duke is for them.
